Sydney. We Live There.

Just like the group of diverse, passionate and sometimes eccentric people that makes up the global city of Sydney, the PPR team that lives and works there has varied origins and interests. From make-up artists through to corporate powerhouses, our united interest is what makes communities tick. We love, and know everything there is to know about, shopping, food, pets, video games, cyber security, aviation and skiing - just a few of the communities we play in. And just like the Harbour city we call home, which draws from the rest of the country and world to hone its eclectic cultural landscape -  we too draw on expertise of the PPR teams in other states and countries to ensure that our campaigns are cemented in local understanding, with a global flavour.

Who We Are

Pamela Klioufis

Business Director / Market Leader NSW

As Managing Director, Pamela Klioufis is responsible for the firm’s business operations in Australia. Since joining Burson-Marsteller in 2012, Pamela has worked across a wide range of client industries and business sectors, leading the firm’s corporate and brand positioning offering. Pamela has been instrumental in achieving stand out results for clients such as the ATO, Queensland Treasury and Trade, Huawei Technologies, Tourism Australia and Accenture. Pamela led the team that designed and delivered the Queensland Government’s Strong Choices campaign to support its effort in reducing debt and addressing the issue of assets sales and leasing. This campaign was awarded Public Affairs Asia’s gold standard as the best government campaign in Asia in 2015 and the Global Top10 COMM PRIX award. At the centre of the campaign was an Australian first - a custom designed interactive tool that gave people insight into the Budget process by responsively showing the impact of 52 options to significantly increase taxes, reduce services or sell or lease some assets. The Strong Choices campaign leveraged custom designed and created campaign materials to raise awareness of Queensland’s financial position, with more than 70,000 Queenslanders participating through the People’s Budget interactive digital tool. The campaign is widely regarded as a best practice example of community engagement and was referenced in The Australian (12 June 2014) as a benchmark campaign for Australian Governments Throughout her career, Pamela has had the privilege of working with some of the world’s leading brands and corporations in a wide range of sectors including government, technology, FMCG, banking and financial services, automobile and aviation. Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, Pamela managed her own public relations consulting firm, Estoria Communications, providing high level strategic counsel and crisis management to clients across the Asia Pacific region. A University of Technology Sydney graduate, Pamela holds a Masters degree in Communication Management with a major in issues management.
