BACKGROUND:

The Bremer Institute of Technical and Further Education [TAFE] in the north eastern Australian state of Queensland, wanted to promote and support various departmental programs and maintain 'top of mind' awareness in the local market.

OBJECTIVE:

To generate awareness and support amongst the public and increase course enquires and enrolments. 

STRATEGY:

PPR works with The Bremer Institute of TAFE to develop monthly media relations strategies around local policy education initiatives. Some of the programs include the "Skilling Queenslanders for Work" and the "Get Set for Work" initiative.

OUTCOMES:

On  average, the Bremer Institute of TAFE receives at least four print stories a month in publications such as local newspapers and state based newspapers such as The Courier Mail and The Sunday Mail.
