Measure Up

The Australian Government’s Department of Health and Ageing engaged PPR to conduct a public relations campaign to promote the Australian Better Health Initiative’s ‘Measure Up’ campaign.

This was designed to encourage Australians to measure their waists to determine their risk of chronic disease; arm people with facts about their lifestyle choices and the risks they faced; and promote healthy choices to help protect people from chronic diseases –¬ starting with physical activity and healthy eating .

PPR met these requirement by successfully conducted a key messaging session; developed a deliverables document; developed an issues management strategy and Q&A document; developed a stakeholder strategy supported with documents for engagement and delivery to stakeholders; developed creative materials to stimulate community involvement and conducted a media campaign to engage community interest on the program.
