May Marketing Mastermind Group
'Pinterest: An In-Depth Look at Today's Hottest Social Media Platform'
12:00pm - 1:30pm Friday 11th of May

** Due to the public and school holidays, there will not be a Mastermind Group in April. Space is limited, please RSVP by Wednesday 2nd of May to
amanda.king@ppr.com.au or candice.edye@ppr.com.au

Pinterest proclaims itself as an online bulletin board that allows you to ‘organize and share things you love’. However, as one the fastest growing internet start-ups ever, it is becoming so much more. The social media site is already driving more traffic to websites than Twitter, despite the fact that it is less than two years old. Pinterest is quickly becoming an important marketing tool for businesses and a source of information for individuals. But what is it? How does it work? And why should you be using it?

During this Mastermind Group, we’ll take a close look at this innovative social media platform and how people are currently using it to their advantage. After a brief presentation of what Pinterest is and how it works, we’ll open it up to a brainstorming discussion of various ways that this platform can be used to market businesses, non-profits, and even government organisations. At the end of the session, attendees will have a working knowledge of Pinterest, an idea of how it can be used for their business, and the tools to start pinning.
