ExxonMobil PNG LNG Project

The Papua New Guinea Liquefied Natural Gas Project (PNG LNG) is operated by Esso Highlands, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corporation, on behalf of the co-venturers - Oil Search Limited, Kroton No.2 Limited, Santos Limited, JX Nippon Oil and Gas Exploration Corporation, Mineral Resources Development Company and Eda Oil.

PNG LNG is an integrated development that includes gas production and processing facilities in the Southern Highlands and Western Provinces of Papua New Guinea, with liquefaction and storage facilities located northwest of Port Moresby, having a capacity of 6.6 million tonnes per year. There are more than 700 kilometres of pipeline connecting the facilities.

Currently in construction phase, the Project is scheduled to commence operations in 2014, with an expected Project lifetime of 30 years.

PPR has a long-term partnership with ExxonMobil on this project, assisting with all forms of communication and liaison. Activity includes events management, sponsorship maximisation, merchandising, communication calendars and developing communication materials including speech notes, media releases, website information, brochures and fact sheets.
