Jonathan Tudor
General Manager Auckland

With more than 20 years in public relations consultancy, working in New Zealand and overseas, Jonathan brings a world of experience to his leadership role at PPR. He is a highly experienced communications specialist with a successful history in corporate and business-to-business communications and public affairs.

Jonathan has returned recently to New Zealand after four years in Dubai, where he worked for Asda’a Burson-Marsteller, the Middle East’s largest consultancy network. Here he first led a corporate practice and then became General Manager of a sister boutique agency. In these roles he led substantial local teams and programmes across the Middle East and North Africa.

His portfolio of clients included well-known names such as American Express, Starbucks, DHL and NZTE, and Middle East businesses such as retail giant M.H.Alshaya, the Majid Al Futtaim Group of leisure and shopping destinations, and Ski Dubai. He also led the program to launch flydudai (flydubai), the first low-cost airline based out of Dubai.

Prior to this he spent two years in London as a Director at Burson-Marsteller, where he established Accenture’s UK press office.

Before leaving New Zealand in 2004, Jonathan managed the UBS sponsorship to support the successful Alinghi America’s Cup bid in 2003 and BT’s sponsorship of the Global Challenge yacht race in 1997 and 2000. He also managed an IT communications practice during a two-year period of rapid growth prior to 2000, and headed prestigious corporate programs for BHP Steel, MSD and Boots Healthcare.

Jonathan has an MBA from Henley Management College and is a BA (Hons) graduate of University College London, UK.
